Posters Again

Hey! Just saw your note on my wall now, lol. :) So I fixed the posters, there were two minor things going on, both just related to how the files get named:

1. Naming Scheme - when doing the card series / pack posters, they should all be "CardPackName_release.jpg". The uploaded ones were named with "_announcement" (which would be totally right for events, like you did with the Now Hiring poster :D), but since card packs don't actually get two versions (announcement and release), they're just all release.

2. File type - the NeoArtCore poster technically had a file extension of ".jpeg" instead of ".jpg". I swapped it over, and this weekend I'll try to remember to update the templates to also support .jpeg as well. :)

Hi again! I forgot to note this before, but the explanation below about decrypting images, etc - that applies to the card art, sprites, and icons. What it doesn't cover is the posters - which, sadly, are not actually files on your phone. Right now, we don't have a better process for the posters, so it's literally just taking multiple screenshots and then using Photoshop to stitch them together into one long file like this and upload them. It's just takes awhile (which is why I haven't been great about doing them for awhile, lol.. x_x). So that's definitely something that could use a hand, if you have any interest and/or free time. :D -Kattiara (talk)

Adding Images

Hey K.O.! Saw your note. So, technically the files are all saved on your phone, but they're encrypted. There are a couple of us who take pull those raw image files down, and use a couple utilities to decrypt them (which to my knowledge can only be done on computer, not just phone). Once decrypted, they then have to be sliced up appropriately - for example, when it's first decrypted, Thanatos' front and back card art is all part of one large image. Likewise, her decrypted sprite is actually a sprite sheet. So the individual pieces need to be chopped out (then stitched back together for the sprite), the dark background removed, etc.. THEN we can (finally) upload them!

So it's sort of a whole process. :) The nice thing is that we end up with high quality images that are all the consistent, original sizes, and without any of the fanta logos on top that sometimes happen when screenshotting from in the game. It's just a bit involved to get there, lol. -Kattiara (talk)

Looks like the stats weren't pulling in because the Boss_row needed underscores (i.e. Walter_M_Elon instead of Walter M Elon).. it's temperamental like that. It looks like a sprite was never uploaded; I'll see if I can dig it up tonight. :)
