The japanese card is 9 but it seems the 'american' card is 8. Is this normal? Should something be done about it?

From time to time the units are different for us and Japan. Grimm U is a 7* for us but a 6* in Japan. Also for the To Dye For event, our units should be different from the Japanese due to it being a team popularity event.

Good eye ;) Yeah, it actually happens quite a bit. Different units come from different events (or altered versions of the same event) and get modified to fit as Mobage pleases. You'll see different names, different rarities, different stats, etc. Plus a bunch of the JP 9s are 40 deploy cost whereas our versions are 30, and so on.

There are actually categories to tag these in, too: Modified Rarity, Modified Name, Modified Skill, and Modified Stats. I don't think anyone's updated these in a long time, so there are probably a ton that need to be categorized as such.

Woah modified art is interesting. And here I thought japan stuff was usually more censored than american stuff. I'll add those tags if I see differences. ZachBora (talk) 01:34, 3 July 2015 (UTC)

Hi Cab! My name's Tseryl. Question for you - how do I directly add an image to a Card? Or an event?

The lack of recent card images and recent event banners makes me upset. It doesn't look nice. However, when I try to edit the Card page or the Event page to add the image, I can't. Is there some coding that I can't see???

---

I haven't figured out how to do the banners just yet. If you have units that do not have pictures upload them as a .jpg and save them based on this example (all you have to do is add the units name)

Name_card.jpg

Name_card_back.jpg

Name_icon.jpg

For units that have more than one card but different rarity do this for example

Shae_9_card.jpg

---

Thanks so much! That helps a ton!

Oh and for the icons make sure they are 64x64

And for the banners save using this example

Hey, this is Ysayde, did something big/bad happen with the wiki? I've only been updating stats and talking to Marybeth up until a while ago where everything went silent. Did Fanta rebuke art access? Can I help with things?

---

The Main person stopped updating the wiki right after the Ladies of Luck event. Ive been trying to update everything since. The past people were able to extract the unit's data from the game itself in order to create the pages which is why there has been a difference in quality of the images. Ive been screenshotting units I have and uploading those pictures to create the new pages.

---

I was told that the people who extracted the game's data were working with Fanta/silicon studio themselves, had to sign an NDA, and were given the decryption. I'm not really code-savvy enough to actually decrypt something even with the key, but I know enough that I know how it's supposed to work. Maybe we could find someone willing to do just that portion of the work/ work with Fanta on that... Until then, I'll try to fill any holes I see in my spare time. Feel free to email me if you need me to do image editing, links on decryption, Fanta's email, or anything like that. ~Ysayde

---

Since you've been making pages and adding the artwork and banners etc. I can link the pages and set everything up if you could continue uploading everything as you have been in your free time. That way its not one sided. Im also limiting much of my spending on this game which is why its been taking me longer to add new units.

[edit] Date format standardization

Hello Cab240,

I'm thinking we should keep a date format standard. Too many places have different date formats. I would either go with ISO which is YYYY-MM-DD or the wikipedia date format which is Month DD, YYYY (June 25, 2015). What do you think?

~~ZachBora

Ive been using YYYY-MM-DD as much as possible.

OK, will change them to that when I can.

[edit] Wrong card?

Hello cab240,

Good eye ;) Yeah, it actually happens quite a bit. Different units come from different events (or altered versions of the same event) and get modified to fit as Mobage pleases. You'll see different names, different rarities, different stats, etc. Plus a bunch of the JP 9★s are 40 deploy cost whereas our versions are 30, and so on.

There are actually categories to tag these in, too: Modified Rarity, Modified Name, Modified Skill, and Modified Stats. I don't think anyone's updated these in a long time, so there are probably a ton that need to be categorized as such.
