! The Prep Phase
 +
|-
 +
|| The Prep Phase is the period during which you recruit members for your Squad in preparation for the Battle Phase.
 +
 +
Put together a powerful Squad and take down those Titans!
 +
 +
There are two ways to participate in the event:
 +
 +
・Find and join a Squad that has openings available
 +
・Create your own Squad and recruit members
 +
 +
Choose the method that's right for you.
 +
 +
During the Prep Phase, you can leave a Squad you've joined, but you will need to wait some time before you can leave any other Squads you may join in the future.
 +
 +
Finally, during the Prep Phase, you can disband a Squad that you've created yourself if you are the only member of the Squad.

! Alliances
 +
|-
 +
|| An Alliance is formed when multiple Squads with fewer than five members combine to form a Squad of up to five members.
 +
 +
Alliances can only be formed by Squads who choose to allow Alliances before the Battle Phase maintenance period begins on October 12, 2017 at 11:00 am PST/PDT.
 +
Squads that have chosen to refuse Alliances will not be placed into Alliances.
 +
The Squad leader can change the Squad's Alliance setting anytime during the Prep Phase.
 +
 +
* Alliance formation will not take into account whether Squads are Open or Closed.
 +
* Even if your Squad has chosen to allow Alliances, there is no guarantee you will be placed into one, nor is your Alliance guaranteed to have five members.

 +
|| There are two ways to join a Squad during the Battle Phase:
 +
 +
・Search for a Squad to join
 +
・Be randomly placed into a Squad that has space available
 +
 +
* If there are no Squads with space available, you will automatically be placed into a temporary Squad.
 +
* If you choose "Join Random Squad," you will have no control over what Squad you are placed into.

! Fortifying Your Base
 +
|-
 +
|| You can use Luna and Brave Pts to fortify your base.
 +
 +
After a set amount of Luna and/or Brave Pts is used, your base will level up.
 +
The base's level and Luna/Brave Pt totals are the same for all Squad members.
 +
The maximum base level is five.
 +
The base's level resets after each match.
 +
 +
Fortifying your base can provide the following effects:
 +
・More units activate skills when fighting Titans
 +
・More BT Pts
 +
* The higher your base's level, the more BT Pts you'll receive
 +
 +
●Alliance Base Level
 +
When multiple Squads form an Alliance, the total Luna/Brave Pts spent by all the Squads will be added up, and the base's level will be determined based on this amount.
 +
Luna/Brave Pts spent will not be returned regardless of whether or not the base's level increases or it is already at max level.

! Teams
 +
|-
 +
|| You can create three normal Teams (an Air ATK Team, a Land ATK Team, and a Sea ATK Team) and one Special Forces Team.
 +
 +
Normal Teams and Special Forces Teams will be deployed in battles against Titans.
 +
Only Special Forces Teams will perform a first strike.
 +
 +
Each normal Team is comprised of three Groups.
 +
Each Group can contain up to 10 units. There is no Cost cap.
 +
Units included in a Special Forces Team cannot be included in a normal Team.
 +
In addition, while it is possible to use the same unit on multiple Teams, you cannot use the same unit in multiple Groups.
 +
 +
Only bonus units can be included in Special Forces Teams.
 +
You can include up to five bonus units. There is no Cost cap.

! Matches
 +
|-
 +
|| Matches pit you against four other Squads. Each Squad has its own color.
 +
 +
Squads will be assigned the color red, blue, green, yellow, or purple for each battle.
 +
Messages displayed during battle will refer to Squads by their color, not their name.
 +
 +
 +
Matches involve both attacking Titans in the field (Offense) and defending your base from encroaching Titans (Defense). Rack up BT Pts and aim for victory!
 +
 +
==== Offense ====
 +
On the Offense screen, you can attack Titans roaming around the field.
 +
Each Titan has four components (Targets), each with its own type.
 +
When you enter battle, the Team most effective against the target's type will automatically be deployed.
 +
Groups will take turns being deployed. When one Group suffers an attack, it will be replaced by the next Group (all Titan attacks are one-hit KOs). If all three Groups are defeated, you lose the battle.
 +
BT Pts are awarded based on damage dealt.
 +
If you successfully destroy a target, the Titan's DEF will decrease and its ATK speed will increase.
 +
 +
During battles, other members of your Squad may come to assist you.
 +
The more units battling the target, the bigger the ATK bonus and the more damage dealt.
 +
 +
Once all four targets are destroyed, you can battle the main body.
 +
Defeat the main body and the Titan will be dispatched toward two enemy Squads and begin approaching their bases.
 +
After the main body is defeated, new Titans will appear.
 +
Each Titan has a level. The higher its level, the more HP it has, but the more BT Pts you can earn.
 +
In addition, the Titan's rarity also affects its HP and the amount of BT Pts awarded.
 +
 +
* The amount of HP remaining for a target/the main body is the same for all Squad members.
 +
* The maximum level for a Titan is 100.
 +
* You cannot choose which Squads a defeated Titan is sent to.
 +
 +
==== Defense ====
 +
When an enemy Squad defeats a Titan, it may approach your Squad's base.
 +
Titans sent to attack your base are displayed on the Defense screen.
 +
Titans approaching your base will arrive after a certain amount of time has elapsed.
 +
If they arrive at your base, they will begin attacking it. If the timer reaches 0, your base will be destroyed.
 +
If your base is destroyed, its level will decrease by one.
 +
You can earn BT Pts by defending your base, but fewer than by attacking Titans in the field.
 +
 +
If your base's level decreases due to a Titan attack, you can raise it by spending Luna/Brave Pts.
 +
 +
* Up to three Titans can appear on the Defense screen at one time.
 +
* The level of the Titans that attack you will be based on your current rank in the match.
 +
 +
==== Replays ====
 +
The Replay option allows you to view a replay of the previous battle.
 +
Replaying a battle will not change the results.
 +
* Repeatedly replaying a battle will not earn you additional EXP or BT Pts.

 +

 +
Deals normal damage
 +
RP: 1
 +
 +
・Rampage
 +

 +

 +
You can also use Potions, Potions(P), and Flasks to fully restore your RP.
 +
 +
* You can only use up to 10 Potions/Potions(P) per match.
 +
* You can have a maximum of 6 RP. You cannot stock additional RP beyond this limit.

Event Rule Details

The Prep Phase
The Prep Phase is the period during which you recruit members for your Squad in preparation for the Battle Phase.

Put together a powerful Squad and take down those Titans!

There are two ways to participate in the event:

・Find and join a Squad that has openings available ・Create your own Squad and recruit members

Choose the method that's right for you.

During the Prep Phase, you can leave a Squad you've joined, but you will need to wait some time before you can leave any other Squads you may join in the future.

Finally, during the Prep Phase, you can disband a Squad that you've created yourself if you are the only member of the Squad.

Alliances
An Alliance is formed when multiple Squads with fewer than five members combine to form a Squad of up to five members.

Alliances can only be formed by Squads who choose to allow Alliances before the Battle Phase maintenance period begins on October 12, 2017 at 11:00 am PST/PDT. Squads that have chosen to refuse Alliances will not be placed into Alliances. The Squad leader can change the Squad's Alliance setting anytime during the Prep Phase.

  • Alliance formation will not take into account whether Squads are Open or Closed.
  • Even if your Squad has chosen to allow Alliances, there is no guarantee you will be placed into one, nor is your Alliance guaranteed to have five members.
Finding a Squad During Battle Phase
There are two ways to join a Squad during the Battle Phase:

・Search for a Squad to join ・Be randomly placed into a Squad that has space available

  • If there are no Squads with space available, you will automatically be placed into a temporary Squad.
  • If you choose "Join Random Squad," you will have no control over what Squad you are placed into.
  • New Squads can only be created during the Prep Phase.
Fortifying Your Base
You can use Luna and Brave Pts to fortify your base.

After a set amount of Luna and/or Brave Pts is used, your base will level up. The base's level and Luna/Brave Pt totals are the same for all Squad members. The maximum base level is five. The base's level resets after each match.

Fortifying your base can provide the following effects: ・More units activate skills when fighting Titans ・More BT Pts

  • The higher your base's level, the more BT Pts you'll receive

●Alliance Base Level When multiple Squads form an Alliance, the total Luna/Brave Pts spent by all the Squads will be added up, and the base's level will be determined based on this amount. Luna/Brave Pts spent will not be returned regardless of whether or not the base's level increases or it is already at max level.

Teams
You can create three normal Teams (an Air ATK Team, a Land ATK Team, and a Sea ATK Team) and one Special Forces Team.

Normal Teams and Special Forces Teams will be deployed in battles against Titans. Only Special Forces Teams will perform a first strike.

Each normal Team is comprised of three Groups. Each Group can contain up to 10 units. There is no Cost cap. Units included in a Special Forces Team cannot be included in a normal Team. In addition, while it is possible to use the same unit on multiple Teams, you cannot use the same unit in multiple Groups.

Only bonus units can be included in Special Forces Teams. You can include up to five bonus units. There is no Cost cap. For details on bonus unit effects, please see the "Bonus Units" section.

Skills
There are two types of Skills available in Clash of the Colossi.

Unit Skills

Units will be given event-specific Unit Skills based on which Arena Skills they possess. Unit Skills activate automatically during Titan battles. The number of units that use skills depends on your base's level. If several units possess the same skill, the skill levels will be added together, resulting in a more powerful effect. The maximum level a Unit Skill can attain in this manner is 30.

Here is a list of the various Unit Skills and their effects, as well as the Arena Skills they correspond to:

Matches
Matches pit you against four other Squads. Each Squad has its own color.

Squads will be assigned the color red, blue, green, yellow, or purple for each battle. Messages displayed during battle will refer to Squads by their color, not their name.

Matches involve both attacking Titans in the field (Offense) and defending your base from encroaching Titans (Defense). Rack up BT Pts and aim for victory!

Offense

On the Offense screen, you can attack Titans roaming around the field. Each Titan has four components (Targets), each with its own type. When you enter battle, the Team most effective against the target's type will automatically be deployed. Groups will take turns being deployed. When one Group suffers an attack, it will be replaced by the next Group (all Titan attacks are one-hit KOs). If all three Groups are defeated, you lose the battle. BT Pts are awarded based on damage dealt. If you successfully destroy a target, the Titan's DEF will decrease and its ATK speed will increase.

During battles, other members of your Squad may come to assist you. The more units battling the target, the bigger the ATK bonus and the more damage dealt.

Once all four targets are destroyed, you can battle the main body. Defeat the main body and the Titan will be dispatched toward two enemy Squads and begin approaching their bases. After the main body is defeated, new Titans will appear. Each Titan has a level. The higher its level, the more HP it has, but the more BT Pts you can earn. In addition, the Titan's rarity also affects its HP and the amount of BT Pts awarded.

  • The amount of HP remaining for a target/the main body is the same for all Squad members.
  • The maximum level for a Titan is 100.
  • You cannot choose which Squads a defeated Titan is sent to.

Defense

When an enemy Squad defeats a Titan, it may approach your Squad's base. Titans sent to attack your base are displayed on the Defense screen. Titans approaching your base will arrive after a certain amount of time has elapsed. If they arrive at your base, they will begin attacking it. If the timer reaches 0, your base will be destroyed. If your base is destroyed, its level will decrease by one. You can earn BT Pts by defending your base, but fewer than by attacking Titans in the field.

If your base's level decreases due to a Titan attack, you can raise it by spending Luna/Brave Pts.

  • Up to three Titans can appear on the Defense screen at one time.
  • The level of the Titans that attack you will be based on your current rank in the match.

Replays

The Replay option allows you to view a replay of the previous battle. Replaying a battle will not change the results.

  • Repeatedly replaying a battle will not earn you additional EXP or BT Pts.
Raid Points
Attacking Titans requires Raid Points (RP).

There are two types of attacks, and they each cost different amounts of RP.

・Attack Deals normal damage RP: 1

・Rampage Deals 4x the damage RP: 3

1 RP is restored every minute. You can also use Potions, Potions(P), and Flasks to fully restore your RP.

  • You can only use up to 10 Potions/Potions(P) per match.
  • You can have a maximum of 6 RP. You cannot stock additional RP beyond this limit.
Battle Status
You can view information about your Squad members as well as enemy Squads on the Battle Status screen.

You can access the Battle Status screen by: ・Tapping the Check Opponents button on the main Squad page ・Tapping the Battle Status button on the Offense or Defense screen during battle

The Battle Status screen displays the following information: ・Squad name and rank ・BT Pts earned in current match ・Difference in BT Pt total compared to your Squad ・Number of Titans sent to other Squads ・Number of Titans sent from other Squads ・Number of Titans defeated that were sent from other Squads

  • All of the above information is reset after each match.
  • It may take some time for the information being displayed to update.
Victory Pts and Match Rankings

Victory Pts are awarded as follows:

1st: 6 Pts 2nd: 4 Pts 3rd: 3 Pts 4th: 2 Pts 5th: 1 Pt

  • Squads that earn no BT Pts will not receive any Victory Pts.
  • In the event of a tie, we reserve the right to determine the winner via alternative means of our choosing.
