Use Aurora Essence to permanently increase a 10★ or 11★ unit's maximum level.
By default, the maximum level for a 10★ unit is 200 and the maximum level for an 11★ unit is 220. Aurora Essences can be used to increase a 10★ unit's maximum level up to 220 and an 11★ unit's maximum level up to 240.
Each Aurora Essence increases the unit's level cap by one level, and a maximum of 20 Aurora Essences can be used per unit.
10★ units can additionally have their max level raised by another 20 levels through use of 
Prismatic Orbs, for a total potential level cap of 240.
11★ units can additionally have their max level raised by another 20 levels through use of 
Celestial Orbs, for a total potential level cap of 260.
Aurora Essences can can be obtained from the Bazaar, where they can be purchased for 100 Orb Points (OP) each, or from 11★ Sanctum Exchanges.
