Event Info
Royal Trouble is an all-new event where you must traverse new, event-exclusive Training areas to rescue Princesses from their pesky suitors.
For your trouble, Princesses will reward you with Love Pts. Love Pts are measured in two ways - individual Love Pts which are tallied separately for each princess; and total Love Pts which represent all the Love Pts you've earned.
- Only the event-specific Training areas found on the event page will offer you the chance to encounter princesses.
- Every ten, event-exclusive Training areas you clear, you will encounter a boss. Defeating this boss will earn you prizes.
- You can also gain Love Pts by assisting princesses who call for help.
- All Love Pts earned from any of the three princesses, will also count towards your total Love Pts.
- Love Pts are tallied separately for each princess.
- Total Love Pts represent the amount of Love Pts earned from all princesses.
Your Love Pt totals will determine your event ranking. Higher ranks will give greater prizes.
Earning Love Pts for each princess will enable you to earn rewards from that princess. Furthermore, you can also earn rewards when your total Love Pts reach certain milestones.
After successfully defending a princess, you may have a chance to earn additional Love Pts.
A princess may ask you for a favor. Responding with the correct item, unit, or monster will earn you bonus Love Pts.
- Any items, units, or monsters given to a princess will be lost once the gifting is complete.
- If you respond to a princess's request with the incorrect gift, you will gain NO Love Pts. Please be advised.
Finally, princesses will also ask you for favors after you have successfully defended them a certain number of times.
As described above, favors will consist of listening to a princess's request, identifying what kind of gift she wants, and then responding in an appropriate manner. Success will award you with bonus Love Pts.

Princess Defense
Deploy both your units, and the leader units of your allies, to protect the Princess!
- You can deploy up to two of your own units, plus three of your allies's leader units, to protect a princess.
- For each enemy unit that manages to touch the princess, her Love Pt gauge will go down.
- The amount of the decrease will vary depending on the rarity of the unit that touches the princess. The higher the rarity, the greater the decrease.
- If a princess's Love Pts reach 0, then you will fail the quest.
- The amount of Love Pts you gain for successfully defending a princess will be determined by that princess's Love Pt gauge at the end of the quest.
- If you manage to clear a quest without any enemy units touching the princess, you will achieve a Perfect Defense. Perfect Defense will award more Love Pts than usual.
- You may also gain an additional bonus after a successful defense. The amount of the bonus is determined at random.
- Failing to defend a princess will result in a loss of Love Pts. The loss will vary depending on the princess's overall popularity.
You can also use a Love Macaron during a quest to restore a portion of the princess's Love Pt gauge.
- You can use as many Love Macarons during a single quest as you like, but can only give a maximum of 10 Macarons for each gifting.
- Restoring more than the maximum number of Love Pts will result in the loss of those excess Love Pts. Please be advised.
- Love Macarons can be acquired by completing quests or as a bonus item bundled with some purchases.
The Love Pt Gauge will be half-full at the start of each quest.
Love Pt Gauges may vary in size depending on princess popularity and the difficulty of the current quest.
Occasionally, enemy units may use attack skills when they touch a princess.
The effect varies depending on the skill. None of them are desirable.
There are a total of five enemy unit skills:
- Poison
- Causes the Love Pt Gauge to decrease steadily for a set amount of time.
- Knockback
- Prevents the use of Love Macarons for a set amount of time.
- Slow
- Reduces the attack speed of friendly units for a set amount of time.
- Area Attack
- Causes an additional 200 Love Pts to be lost in addition to normal attack damage.
- Attack Up
- Increases the amount of damage dealt by enemy units for a set amount of time.
Love Pts, Total Love Pts, Popularity
Love Pts are tallied separately for each princess. Total Love Pts represent the sum of all of the Love Pts earned by a player since the start of the event.
Love Pts
Each of the three princesses (Elly, Celia, and Tiara) will have their own Love Pt totals.
Earn a certain amount of Love Pts for any given princess and she will reward you with a prize.
When you successfully defend a princess, she will reward you with Love Pts that will contribute to her individual Love Pts.
The base amount of Love Pts you will earn will be equal to the princess's Love Pt gauge at the end of a successful defense.
Defeat all of the enemies before the can touch the princess and you will earn an even greater amount of Love Pts for that princess.
If a princess's Love Pt gauge reaches zero, you will fail the quest and lose a number of Love Pts for that princess. The amount of points you lose will depend on the princess's popularity ranking at the time.
Additionally, there will be times when a princess asks you for a favor. If you succeed, you will earn additional Love Pts for that princess. These favors can either occur randomly (after a successful defense) or after you have defended a princess a certain number of times.
Once a princess's Love Pts reach a certain amount, a ! will appear over the Check Princesses button on the main event screen.
Press the Check Princesses button at this time and you will have the opportunity to see a story segment for one of the princesses.
As the three princesses are rivals, helping one princess will lower your Love Pts with the others.
For example, successfully defending Tiara will cause a Love Pt loss with Celia and Elly.
- Love Pt totals cannot fall below 0 pts.
- You can only receive each Love Pt reward once.
- Love Pts received by successfully performing favors will NOT trigger a Love Pt reduction for rival princesses.
- You may also receive anywhere from zero to nine bonus Love Pts whenever you successfully defend a princess.
Total Love Pts
Total Love Pts differ from the individual Love Pts that each princess holds.
Adding the Love Pt totals for the three princesses may not accurately represent your Total Love Pts.
Total Love PTs are not subject to Love Pt reductions that occur as a result of princess rivalry. Once a Love Pt has been added to your Total Love Pts, it cannot be taken away.
Once your Total Love Pts reach a certain amount, a ! will appear over the Check Princesses button on the main event screen.
Press the Check Princesses button at this time and you will have the opportunity to see a story segment for Princess Phoebe.
Popularity
Each princess has her own popularity rating.
Each time you successfully defend a princess, her popularity rating will increase by 1.
As her popularity rating increases, her defense quests will become more difficult. More difficult defense quests award greater amounts of Love Pts when completed. They also increase the size of a princess's Love Pt Gauge.
If you fail to defend a princess at a given popularity 3 times, her popularity ranking will decrease by 1.
Royal Rivalry
Increasing one princess's Love Pts may cause another princess to lose Love Pts!
Royal Trouble features a cast of 4 (troublesome) Princesses.
- Princess Tiara
- Princess Celia
- Princess Elly
- Princess Phoebe
Of the four, Tiara, Celia, and Elly consider each other rivals.
Rescuing any one of those princesses will cause the other two princesses to lose Love Pts.
For example, successfully defending Tiara will cause a Love Pt loss with Celia and Elly.
However, rescuing Princess Phoebe will result in an increase for all three princesses.
Unfortunately, you can NOT give Princess Phoebe Love Pts. She does not have her own individual Love Pt total.
- Love Pts earned by performing favors or via other bonuses will NOT trigger a point loss with rival princesses.
- Love Pt totals can not fall below 0 Pts.
Princess Phoebe
Princess Phoebe has the power to increase the Love Pt totals of the other three princesses.
Princess Phoebe is a rare princess that is only occasionally found in Training.
Successfully defending her will raise the Love Pt totals for Celia, Tiara, and Elly.
Princess Phoebe does not have her own Love Pts.
Likewise, failing to defend Princess Phoebe will cause ALL of the other princesses to lose Love Pts.
Favors and Gifts
Perform favors to get bonus Love Pts!
Favors can trigger in one of two ways:
- They can occur randomly after you have successfully defended a princess
- They occur after you have attempted to defend a princess a set number of times
After you successfully defend a princess, there is a small chance that the princess will ask you for a favor.
She will give you a hint as to what she is looking for. Give her something that matches her request to earn bonus Love Pts.
If you give her something she does not want, you will NOT earn ANY additional Love Pts.
The more Love Pts a princess has, the higher the chance that she'll ask you for a favor after battle.
Additionally, princesses will also ask you for favors once you have attempted to defend them a certain number of times.
During this time, you can tap the Gift button on the main page to listen to a princess's request.
Who will make the request will depend on each princess's Love Pts. The princess with the highest Love Pt total will make the request.
If two or more princesses have the same amount of Love Pts, then the princess will be determined at random.
The items you can gift to a princess are listed below:
- 100000 Luna
- Love Macaron (event item)
- Silver Bell (gift item)
- Light Perfume (gift item)
All items giving to a princess will be lost in the process.
- Silver Bells and Light Perfume can be found by completing quests.
- Love Macarons can be found by completing quests or via some purchases.
- Giving a Love Macaron to a princess will always award some Love Pts, however you will receive fewer points than if you'd given the *correct* item.
- If you happen to close the app or accidentally back out of the gift-giving process, you can try again by returning back to the event main page and tapping the Gift button.
- You can only continue from the last gift-giving process you participated in when the error / mistake occurred.
- If you have more than one favor active at any given time, you may need to complete one before you can initiate the other.
- However, if you trigger more than one favor (by engaging in a set number of quests), then you will lose access to the oldest one. For example, if you trigger a favor by attempting 5(hypothetical) quests and then trigger a second favor by completing 10(hypothetical) quests, you will lose access to the first favor if you have not already completed it.
Stud Mode
Take advantage of Stud Mode to gain big Love Pts!
You can initiate Stud Mode by using the event-exclusive item Wild Flowers. Stud Mode lasts for 5 minutes by default.
Stud Mode offers the following benefits -
- Increased chance to encounter princess during Training (princess is determined by whichever princess you have selected at the time of use.)
- Increase chance for princess to ask you for a favor at the end of a successful defense
- Reduce the number of enemies present in a defense quest
Furthermore, if you active Stud Mode for Princess Phoebe, you will enjoy the following benefits -
- A small increase in chance to encounter all princesses during Training
- A small increase in chance that a princess will ask you for a favor at the end of a successful defense (all princesses)
- Reduces the number of enemies present in a defense quest (all princesses)
If you close the app during a defense quest while Stud Mode is active, you will no longer enjoy its benefits if you log in after Stud Mode wears off.
Event Items
Use event items to get gain bonuses and get a leg up on the competition!
- Love Macaron
- Use a Love Macaron during a defense quest to restore 50 Love Pts to that princess's Love Pt gauge.
- You can also give Love Macarons to princesses whenever they ask a favor of you. Doing so will award you with Love Pts, but you will receive fewer than if you'd given her the *correct* item she really wanted.
- You can get Love Macarons by completing quests or as a bonus item included in some purchases.
- Wild Flowers
- Use a Wild Flower to activate Stud Mode for 5 minutes.
- For more about the benefits of Stud Mode, please see the section labeled *Stud Mode*.
- You can get Wild Flowers as a bonus item included in some purchases.
- Silver Bell, Light Perfume
- These are gift items that you can give to a princess when she asks a favor.
- You can get Silver Bells and Light Perfume by completing quests.
- Silver Bells and Light Perfume do not drop in Quest Episodes 1 through 4.
