If you desire a refund from Apple, please contact the Attorney General of California for their deceptive practices at Mobage and Silicon Studios regarding step up packs, breach of security and breach of EULA. Make sure you file a complaint with the Attorney General of California which can be found here http://oag.ca.gov/contact/consumer-complaint-against-business-or-company you can obtain any and all money spent as a class action lawsuit is pending against these companies. Additionally the FBI is looking into illegal practices, scams, and fraudulent activities by these companies. Most have recovered 5-12 months worth of spending.

Know that we all spend a great deal of money on the game trying to rank and the top rankers control all the rewards that are 8* and the 7* are incredibly rare or expensive in game.
At this time if you wish for a refund and you are on the iOS version, feel free to contact Apple Support > Billing Problems > and ask the representative for a refund from Mobage/Fantasica. They will credit back your account how you paid whether its a gift card which be put back to your itunes or if its to your credit card.

If you wish for this you'll need specific information and you'll need to follow the following steps.
1. File a complaint with the California Attorney General. The link is here. http://oag.ca.gov/contact/consumer-complaint-against-business-or-company
2. You'll need to find Mobage's address and place it in the required fields. ngmoco, LLC 185 Berry Street, Suite 3000, San Francisco, CA 94107-7621.
3. List the odds and complaints regarding any and all packs except for dream packs. As Fantasica/Silicon Studios and Mobage refuse to communicate the odds. To pull an 8* with a step up pack based on information its about 8.35% overall with the x30 bonus according to research. You'll need a copy of office 2013 Excel to make the spreadsheet and find the odds since they have changed since I've pulled it. At this point put in how much money you're requesting back with them. Also mention false advertising as well and give screen shots of step up packs with odds. The last thing to mention is breach of contract and EULA.
4. Contact Mobage and Fantasica support they will give you the "Its not my problem and we cant guarentee odds" automatic reply responses. Also advise both of these entities that according to the Attorney General of Colorado and California this is illegal and you should also file a report with the Department of Justice and the FBI.
5. Call Apple and ask for a refund, know that there is a growing complaint with the California Attorney General and get your refund.

Here are some examples of when you will use dice within the event.

# Movement
#* Roll the dice on the board screen to move a number of squares equal to your die roll.

Boss battles occur when you land on a boss square.

In a boss battle, you attack by rolling the dice.

Attacking does not consume any Dice Pts.

The higher your roll, the higher you attack level will be. Higher attack levels lead to more damage.

The damage you deal to a boss will also be affected by the boss's type (land, sea, air.)

When using a dice item, getting multiples of a die roll may lead to a Deck Attack.

The more multiples you have, the greater your chance of triggering a Deck Attack.

Deck Attacks use your support deck.

You can equip your Support Deck with up to 6 units, though there is a cost cap of 100.

Bosses will attack every set number of turns.

If your hit points fall to 0, you will lose the battle.

Lower a boss's hit points to 0 to win the boss battle.

Boss battles continue until a victor is determined.

When you lose, you will have the option to continue with your hit points fully restored. Continue requires a potion.

Defeating bosses will reward you with BT Pts and other fab prizes.

You will only earn a small number of BT Pts if you lose.

All rewards you earn for defeating a boss will be sent to your Inbox.

You will also have the chance to earn bonus BT Pts in battle.
