Finally, you can also earn Victory Rewards depending on the number of bossses you defeat. Good luck!

Among the different bosses, there are two that are particularly rare - Lords of Terror and Weird Wanderers. Both offer tasty rewards IF you can manage to defeat them!!
|-
!style="text-align:left;"|
Boss Units and Combat

|-
|| In Here There Be Dragons, you'll assemble a team of 4 units and 4 monsters to do battle with would-be poachers intent on harming your hatchling.

While there is a cost cap for your units, there are no limitations on which monsters you can use.

In boss fights, your maximum hit points will vary depending on which monsters you have set in your team.

Specifically, the size, level, and rarity of your monsters will all affect your maximum hit points.

Press the Auto Build button and you will automatically form two teams using your highest level monsters and units.

There will also be times when your Allies' hatchling will appear mid-battle to help out.

This hatchling's strength will depend largely on the strength of your monster team.

Fighting boss units will incur a cooldown.

You can use a Time Elixir at any time to instantly reset this cooldown.

Tap a boss unit to view how much cooldown is remaining on that unit.

Boss units you encounter in Training will gradually advance on your dragon.

If they reach your dragon, the boss unit will disappear and you will lose BT Pts.

You can tap boss units to check how much time it will take for them to reach your dragon.

Defeat the boss to earn BT Pts and Dragon Jelly. BT Pts will affect your ranking and Dragon Jelly is used to grow your dragon.

The first person who initiates a fight with a given boss (i.e. the person who found the boss), will also receive a Discovery Bonus when the boss is defeated.

The person who inflicts the most damage during the boss fight will receive a MVP Bonus after the boss has been defeated.

* Arena / Player skills will not activate during Boss Unit battles.
* You cannot battle a boss unit that has already reached your dragon.
** Be careful when using Time Elixirs to reengage bosses during cooldown. You may find that the boss has already been defeated by another player.**
|}
{| class="mw-collapsible mw-collapsed"
|-
!style="text-align:left;"|
Special Units

|-
|| Special units will offer certain bonuses when used in the Here There Be Dragons event!

Special units deployed in boss unit battles will enjoy increased attack power.

Furthermore, including special units in your monster / unit teams will also increase your chances of meeting the rare boss units the Lords of Terror and Weird Wanderers.

Rare boss units offer more attractive rewards than your standard boss units.

The amount of the increase depends on the rarity of the unit - the higher the rarity, the larger the increase.

Only the rarest special unit and rarest special monster (for a total of two special units) will affect your chances of meeting the Lords of Terror and the Weird Wanderers.

Here are your special units:

'''Fusion Packs '''
* Rosalia, Flower of the Night(7★)
* Sunesis, Knight of the Realm(6★)
* Grimoire, Mage Apprentice(5★)

'''Season 10 Dream Packs '''
Lactis, Flavor of Love(7★)
* Nocturne, Elder Demon(6★ monster)
* Eins, The Evil Revealed(5★ monster)
* Anelo the Dragonspawn(5★)
* Rufia the Oni(4★)
|}
{| class="mw-collapsible mw-collapsed"
|-
!style="text-align:left;"|
Group Battles

|-
|| If you fail to defeat a boss unit the first time you engage them, you can invite your allies to participate in a Group Battle.

You can hit the Request Help! button by tapping the Group Battle on any boss that you've failed to defeat.

Your request will be sent to a random selection of allies.

You can only tap the Request Help! button once for each boss.

If you have bosses present on the Check Battles screen, you may see a red ! mark appear on the Edit / Fight button.

Here you can check if you have any requests for help from your allies. Any boss monsters your allies have discovered will appear in purple.

Tap Join Fight to participate in the Group Battle.

Once a boss has been defeated in this fashion, you can tap the Receive Reward button to receive the spoils of your fight.

You can only have up to a total of 10 boss units active on your Check Battles screen at a single time.

If you have already reached 10 active boss units, you will no longer receive requests for help from your allies, nor will you encounter any other allies in training.

This includes bosses who have been defeated, but still have rewards left unclaimed.

* Be careful when using Time Elixirs to reengage bosses during cooldown. You may find that the boss has already been defeated by another player.**
* You will not lose any BT Pts for enemies reaching your allies' hatchlings.
|}
{| class="mw-collapsible mw-collapsed"
|-
!style="text-align:left;"|
Dragon Jelly

|-
|| Dragon Jelly is a special, event-exclusive item that you can use to nurture your dragon into a more powerful beast!

You can get Dragon Jelly by defeating boss units.

You nurture dragons primarily by feeding them scrumptious, vitamin-packed goods like Luna, items, or unit cards.

While you can substitute Dragon Jelly for these items, please keep in mind that you will NEED Dragon Jelly to give your dragon the final push it needs to change forms.

You can also get Dragon Jelly as a Discovery / MVP Bonus.

* Dragon Jelly will not be used in any future events and may even be reset after the event has concluded.
|}
{| class="mw-collapsible mw-collapsed"
|-
!style="text-align:left;"|
Nuturing Your Dragon

|-
|| Tap your dragon to gain access to the EVO area of the event.

Here you will feed your dragon Luna, items, and cards to nurture them into a more advanced form. Tap on the Luna, Item, Card icons to convert those items to EVO Pts.

As you gain EVO Pts, a bar will fill up above your dragon hatchling indicating your current EVO progress.

Only after you have fully filled the bar will you be ready to able to take the final preparations to evo your dragon into its next form.

Once the EVO Progress gauge has been filled, you will need to feed your dragon a number of Dragon Jellies to EVO her to her next form.

If you do not have enough Dragon Jelly, you will not be able to EVO your dragon. Dragon Drops CANNOT be used at this stage of development.

Once you have evolved a dragon in this fashion, you can press the Get Dragon button to stop the EVO process and receive your dragon.

After receiving a dragon, you will be granted a new hatchling to raise again from scratch.

* Any excess EVO Pts gained when EVOing your dragon will be discarded.
* Once you have received a dragon, your new hatchling will arrive in its default, starting state. You will need to evolve your dragon again for it to change.
* Mina will grant fewer EVO Pts than other 6★s when fed to your dragon.
** The number of EVO Pts and Dragon Jellies need to evo your dragon will increase incrementally starting with your second hatchling.
* You can tap the Get Dragon button after the event has finished, but you won't be able to feed or evo it any more than its current state.
|-
! Dice
|-
||
Dice will play an important part throughout the event.

Here are some examples of when you will use dice within the event.

# Movement
#* Roll the dice on the board screen to move a number of squares equal to your die roll.
#* Rolling the dice will consume 1 Dice Pt.
#* You will regain Dice Pts at a rate of 1 every 10 minutes.
#* You will also regain 1 Dice Pt every time you land on an Ally Square.
#* Using Lucky Candy will instantly restore your Dice Pts.
#* You can gain Lucky Candy as an event reward or through some purchases on the card pack page.
#** Lucky Candy cannot be traded.
#** Any uneaten Lucky Candy remaining at the end of the event will be reset. Lucky Candy will not be useable in any future events.
# Boss Attacks
#* Roll the dice during boss fights to perform an attack.
#* Rolling the dice in this fashion does not consume Dice Pts.
#* The higher your die roll, the more powerful your attack will be.
#* Furthermore, if you have duplicate rolls, you may unleash a Deck Attack.
#* The greater the number of matching dice you have, the more likely you will be to perform a Deck Attack.
# Popping Treasure Chests
#* When landing on a treasure chest, you can use dice to attempt to open the box.
#* If you roll the needed number or higher, then you will receive whatever is in inside.
#* Rolling dice to pop treasure chests does not require Dice Pts.

In some situations, you can also use special dice items to roll more than one die.

There are 3 types of special dice items:
*Bronze Dice will let you roll 1 additional die. (2 total)
*Silver Dice will let you roll 4 additional dice. (5 total)
*Gold Dice will let you roll 9 additional dice. (10 total)

If you roll matching dice, you'll receive a match bonus.

Dice items are available as an event reward or bundled with some purchases on the Card Pack page.

* Movement after using a dice item will still require 1 Dice Pt.
* Dice items cannot be traded.
* Any dice items remaining at the end of the event will be reset. Dice items will not be useable in any future events.
|}

{| class="wikitable mw-collapsible mw-collapsed"
|-
! Special Squares
|-
||
There are a number of special squares that you will come across in your journey.

Special squares are divided roughly into 2 groups.

There are squares that will force you to stop when you reach them (Stop Squares) and squares that you can only land on if roll the exact number needed (Normal Squares.)

'''Start / Goal Squares '''

Type: Stop Square

Return to this square after circling the board to complete 1 lap.

If you have movement points remaining when you arrive on this square, they WILL carry over into the next lap.

'''Treasure Chests '''

Type: Normal Square

Treasure chests contain various rewards IF you can manage to open it. Opening a chest requires a die roll that matches or exceeds the given, target number.

Rolling to pop a chest does NOT require Dice Pts.

'''Monster Squares '''

Type: Normal Square

Defeat the monster to earn BT Pts.

'''Boss Squares '''

Type: Stop Square

Landing on this square triggers a boss battle.

Defeating the boss will earn you BT Pts and other fabulous rewards.

You will receive a reduced amount of BT Pts if you lose.

Any remaining movement points you have when stopping on a boss square will carry over if you defeat the boss. However, failing to defeat the boss will cause you to lose those movement points.

'''Ally Squares '''

Type: Normal Square

Ally Squares will grant you certain benefits like Ally Cards and Dice Pts.

The Ally Card you receive will depend on how many laps that ally has completed.

You cannot gain more than the maximum amount of Dice Pts.

'''Warp Squares '''

Type: Normal Square

Stop on a warp square to be transported to a second warp square. Warping is one-way only.

Landing on a warp exit panel will not cause you to warp back to the warp entrance panel.

'''Boss Battles'''

Boss battles occur when you land on a boss square.

In a boss battle, you attack by rolling the dice.

Attacking does not consume any Dice Pts.

The higher your roll, the higher you attack level will be. Higher attack levels lead to more damage.

The damage you deal to a boss will also be affected by the boss's type (land, sea, air.)

When using a dice item, getting multiples of a die roll may lead to a Deck Attack.

The more multiples you have, the greater your chance of triggering a Deck Attack.

Deck Attacks use your support deck.

You can equip your Support Deck with up to 6 units, though there is a cost cap of 100.

Bosses will attack every set number of turns.

If your hit points fall to 0, you will lose the battle.

Lower a boss's hit points to 0 to win the boss battle.

Boss battles continue until a victor is determined.

When you lose, you will have the option to continue with your hit points fully restored. Continue requires a potion.

Defeating bosses will reward you with BT Pts and other fab prizes.

You will only earn a small number of BT Pts if you lose.

All rewards you earn for defeating a boss will be sent to your Inbox.

You will also have the chance to earn bonus BT Pts in battle.

Here is a list of those bonuses:

;Damage Bonus
: Awarded for inflicting more damage than the boss's remaining health
;Deck Attack Bonus

Special units included in your Support Deck will also receive the attack bonus.
=== Chest Rewards ===
Treasure chests are a type of special square on the Board. Opening a chest requires a die roll that matches or exceeds the given, target number (rolling to pop a chest does NOT require Dice Pts). Note that you only have ONE chance to roll and open a chest; if your roll does NOT achieve a high enough amount to open the chest, you will then pass it.

There are also special Key Cards that will allow you to pop open a treasure chest without the need of a die roll. Key Cards are can be acquired from treasure chests and Ally squares.

Chest rewards are '''randomized'''. Below are some of the rewards you can find in each chest type/rarity.
|-
! Dice
|-
||

|}

{| class="wikitable mw-collapsible mw-collapsed"
|-
! Special Squares
|-
||

! Dice
|-
||

{| class="wikitable mw-collapsible mw-collapsed"
|-
! Special Squares
|-
||
